What's It All About?

It's simple. Each month, we throw down a challenge, and it's all about using Syncloop APIs to build something cool. At the end of the month, we will announce winner of the particular theme/month and give prizes.

Why Should You Join?

  • Learn by Doing: This is your chance to get hands-on experience with Syncloop APIs. No better way to learn than by diving in.
  • Showcase Your Skills: You've got talent, and it's time to show it off. Build a project that shines in the developer community.
  • Win Prizes: Yep, there are prizes up for grabs. Think swag, gadgets, and maybe even a few surprises.

How Does It Work?

  • We announce a challenge theme at the start of the month. It could be anything from real-time data sync to IoT magic.
  • You code away, using Syncloop APIs to build your project. No rush, you've got the whole month.
  • When you're done, submit your project. Our judges (some of them are devs too) will take a look.
  • We announce the winners, celebrate your genius, and send out those prizes.

Get Involved!

We want you to be part of this. Share your journey, ask questions, and collaborate with fellow devs on our forums and Discord. Let's learn and grow together.

Welcome to the Second Month of the Syncloop Monthly API Challenge! In this exciting installment, we're diving deep into the theme of "Real-Time Data Synchronization." So, what does this theme entail, and why should you be thrilled about it? Let's break it down.

Examples

  • Chat Application Sync: Challenge participants to create an API that enables real-time synchronization of chat messages across multiple devices and platforms. Users should see messages instantly, regardless of the device they're using.
  • Live Dashboard Updates: Task participants with building an API that updates a live data dashboard with real-time information from various sources, such as stock market data, weather updates, or social media metrics.
  • IoT Sensor Data: Invite participants to develop an API that synchronizes real-time sensor data from Internet of Things (IoT) devices to a central monitoring system. This could include temperature readings, motion detection, or environmental data.
  • Multiplayer Gaming: Task developers with creating an API for a real-time multiplayer game, ensuring that all players experience synchronized gameplay with minimal latency.
  • Location Tracking: Challenge participants to build an API that tracks the real-time location of delivery vehicles or field personnel and displays their positions on a map in real-time.
  • Social Media Notifications: Create an API that delivers real-time notifications from social media platforms (e.g., new followers, likes, or messages) to a user's dashboard or mobile app.
  • E-commerce Inventory: Task developers with developing an API that updates an e-commerce website's product inventory in real-time as items are purchased, ensuring that customers always see accurate stock levels.

The Rules

We're keeping the rules simple. Your task is to create an application that integrates Syncloop APIs with a popular platform.
